Whether you’re interested in learning the basics of marbling or diving into the deep end, I offer a variety of marbling classes, private lessons and events, and open studio time to meet the needs of beginner and advanced marblers alike.
Classes are for participants 16 years of age and older. Children’s classes available upon request.
Currently, classes are taught in Mendocino, Calif., in northern California. Future classes may also be offered in San Francisco and Los Angeles. To be notified of class offerings, sign up for my eNewsletter.

Experience the Tank Marbling Class
Time: 3 hours

Beginning Marbling Class
Time: 5-6 hours

Quick description: Experience the joys of marbling in this class that allows you to explore colors, learn basic techniques and patterns, experiment with your own designs ~ and gives you the confidence to start marbling on your own at home! Everything is provided. Just show up and have fun!
Introduction to Marbling Immersion Class

Quick Description: Immerse yourself in the world of marbling in this two-day class where you will learn the nuts and bolts of the art form, dive into traditional pattern making, and have time for creative exploration. Everything is provided. Just show up and have fun!

Private and Semi-private Lessons

Spend time in the studio with lessons and learnings tailored toward your particular goals and that fit into your schedule (weekday or weekend). Semi-private lessons (maximum 2 people) make for great first dates, anniversary or birthday celebrations, mother-daughter activities, and other special events.

For larger groups, such as birthday parties, girls’ night out, or other social gatherings, I can bring my marbling studio to you or you can come to mine.

Open Studio
Time: 4 hours initially and then hourly after that
Cost: initial 4 hours ~ $45 for 11"x14" tank, $65 for 20"x25"tank
Materials fee: $10 – $20 paper packs or bring your own
Description: Open to former and current students only (or those with previous marbling experience), open studio provides the time and space to practice your marbling skills and explore the craft deeper at your own pace and with your own goals in mind. All materials are provided except for paper (bring your own or purchase a paper pack from me). No formal instruction is provided but I’ll be there to offer encouragement, make suggestions, and answer questions.
